To take a measurment:

Freeze → Trackball → measure → choose with set → trackball set trackball set → Save 1

Alternatively:

Freeze → Calliper → measure as before

If you want to put annotation:

Freeze → Spacebar (brings up for example abdominal words because the preset is abdomen) 

→ set (and move the word wherever you want) → set  → save1

Alternatively:

Freeze → Spacebar → Just type on the keyboard whatever you want → save1
